We know that choosing the right early learning centre is a big decision, and it’s natural to have questions. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common queries families have about Scotts Road Childcare.

  • We welcome children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age, supporting each stage of development from nursery through to preschool.

  • We are open Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm, excluding public holidays.

  • Yes, we operate year-round, including during school holidays, to provide consistent care for your family.

  • You can begin the enrolment process by booking a tour through our website. After your visit, our Centre Director will guide you through the next steps.

  • Our daily fee includes nutritious meals prepared on-site, nappies, wipes, sunscreen, and access to all learning programs and resources.

  • Absolutely. Scotts Road Childcare is CCS-approved. We’re happy to assist you with any questions about eligibility or how to apply.

  • Each day includes a balance of play-based learning, outdoor exploration, group activities, rest periods, and mealtimes. Routines are tailored to each age group and child’s needs.

  • No need! We provide all meals, snacks, nappies, and wipes. You’ll just need to pack a spare change of clothes and any comfort items your child may need.

  • We recommend packing a change of clothes, a sun hat, a water bottle, and any comfort item your child uses for rest.

  • We work with you to create a smooth transition. This may include shorter visits to start and regular updates to keep you informed.

  • Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and inspired by play-based, child-centred learning. Educators tailor experiences to support each child’s interests and developmental stage.

  • Yes. Our preschool program includes a strong focus on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills to help children transition confidently to school.
