Opened in 2018, Scotts Road Child Care in Darra, Brisbane, is owned and operated by a passionate team with over 30 years of experience in childcare. We offer high-quality early learning programs for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, along with Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs. Conveniently located across from Darra State School, our centre provides a nurturing environment where children thrive.
Our all-inclusive approach ensures your child receives a well-rounded education, from carefully selected Educators to our outdoor wonderland and innovative daily programs. We offer long day care from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays).

Scotts Road Enrolment Process
1 | Tour the centre
Once you have completed our enrolment enquiry form we will get in touch with you to organise a tour of our centre. You can also call us on 07 5512 0910 to book a tour.
2 | Enrolment pack
Once you have completed a tour, you will receive an enrolment pack with all the necessary paperwork.
3 | Orientation
Once enrolled, we will organise an orientation for you and your child. This usually involves two shorter visits to help your child adjust.
Accessing the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) percentage is the way the government links your income to the amount of Child Care Subsidy they give you. Centrelink works out your percentage from the information you give them about your family’s annual income and the number of children in your family who attend child care. We can help guide you through this process.

We currently have availability for children 15 months to five years. We may have some limited availability for before and after school care. Please call us on 07 5512 0910 to find a place for your child.

We provide a discount for children that attend the centre five days a week. We are also pleased to be a State Government approved kindergarten provider which gives families 15 hours of free Kindy per week for 40 weeks per year.

There are no minimum number of required days per week. The advantages, however, of a child who has frequent exposure to high-quality childcare are very beneficial. Your child will benefit from structure, routine and a sense of security as they know what to expect on their childcare days.

We do not have an enrolment or waitlist fee. Two weeks of fees are required to be paid before your child’s first day. Thereafter, fees must always be paid either weekly or fortnightly in advance.
